This webinar is part of the Trauma-Informed Approaches Certification for Property Managers.

Understanding the experience, effect, and impact of trauma on individuals is key to developing trauma-informed practices. This foundational course will explore the experience of trauma and how unaddressed issues may show up in different people. In addition, the course will introduce the principles of trauma-informed approaches and how to apply these approaches in everyday interactions. 

What You Will Learn

Be able to recognize what trauma-informed approaches look like in practice and the key principles of trauma-informed care
Understand the importance of applying trauma-informed approaches
Be able to recognize how trauma may show up when working with individuals and how to effectively support people with trauma histories

Learning Experience

This webinar will take place through the CSH Training Center platform. Participants will sign in to their accounts to access the learning and materials.

  • The webinar will be conducted through the Zoom Meetings platform. Participants will have the option to use computer or phone audio via a toll-free number.
  • All live webinars and workshops feature activities that encourage participant involvement from polls, to chat, to encouraging feedback with engagement platforms. Participants will have a number of options to decide how to participate in the session.
  • Participants are not expected to be on camera.
  • Closed captioning is available.
  • All participants have access to a learner guide that includes all key material covered in slides (slides are not provided).
