Part of the Case Ready: Core Skills Program

Restorative and Recovery-Oriented Approaches to Case Management

This module introduces participants to the principles and practices of restorative and recovery-oriented case management. Grounded in the belief that healing and growth are possible for every individual; this module emphasizes the case manager’s role in fostering hope and resilience without judgement throughout the change process.

Participants will explore the profound impact of trauma on individuals’ lives and behaviors, and how trauma-informed approaches can create the safety and trust necessary for recovery. The module will also highlight restorative approaches that prioritize dignity, accountability, and relationship-building as essential components of meaningful support.

By the end of this module, participants will be better equipped to walk alongside individuals on their recovery journeys with compassion, clarity, and confidence.
