Navigating Loss and Grief at Work

Losing a team member, client or tenant can have a profound impact on fellow residents, staff, and the community.

Talking about death, dying and loss can be challenging and how we each manage grief can be different. This webinar will explore grief reactions, coping strategies, and managing bereavement. The course will also look at how culture and beliefs about death and dying influence how we grieve and mourn. As part of this course, you will learn about grief reactions, how to support staff and tenants, and how to acknowledge the loss of a resident in your residential projects.

This course will discuss sensitive topics related to death, loss, and grief that may bring up strong emotions or feelings. We encourage all participants to practice self-care during and after this session
