IN-PERSON EVENT

Compassionate Crisis Response and De‑Escalation

Housing and service providers regularly work with individuals experiencing high levels of stress, trauma, and mental health challenges. In these moments, knowing how to respond calmly, safely, and effectively is essential—but not always easy.

This one‑day interactive workshop is designed specifically for housing and service providers who may encounter tenant, clients, or community members in emotional distress or crisis.
The workshop introduces practical, trauma‑informed de‑escalation techniques that can help prevent situations from escalating while maintaining dignity, safety, and respect for everyone involved.

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply in housing and service environments, increased confidence navigating challenging interactions, and a clearer understanding of how thoughtful responses can reduce risk and support positive outcomes.
