From Move-in to Move-out: Trauma-Informed Approaches to Tenant Relationships

Trust, transparency, and a sense of safety are all hallmarks of trauma-informed approaches. This course will provide property management strategies for creating a welcoming environment to facilitate smooth move-ins and transitions from units. As part of this course, participants will learn how to lead with empathy and understanding and use active listening skills to problem solve to address the needs of tenants. Aspects of both psychological and physical safety will be explored using practical examples and common challenges property teams face.
