Part of our Supervision in Action Series

Lifting Each Other Up: Building Positive Team Dynamics

In this course supervisors will develop the skills and insights needed to lead cohesive, high-performing teams. Participants will explore the foundational elements of team dynamics, including communication styles and role clarity. The course emphasizes the importance of psychological safety—creating an environment where team members feel safe to take risks, voice concerns, and contribute ideas without fear of negative consequences.

Supervisors will also learn practical strategies to foster shared ownership, accountability, and resilience among team members, especially in high-stress or resource-constrained settings. Through real-world scenarios, reflective exercises, and peer learning, participants will gain tools to build trust, navigate interpersonal challenges, and align team efforts with organizational goals. This module is designed to support supervisors in cultivating adaptive teams that can effectively respond to the complex needs of clients and communities.
